Maria Claudia Alvarado is a content writer and translator from Lima, Peru. She graduated from the Savannah College of Arts and Design in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Writing. She was first introduced to English as a second language when she was four years old and grew up with a deep interest in literature and learning languages. Her familiarity with English earned her the chance to study abroad in the United States. She is fluent in Spanish and English, has intermediate knowledge of French and German, and is learning Japanese.
Her work has been published in Literary Anthology Parallax, Artemis, and Georgia’s Emerging Writers. She wrote for Study Breaks Magazine in 2016, and worked as a freelance proofreader and translator for six years.
